Faith Force

Faith Force is children’s church Sunday morning at 11am and Sunday evenings, at 6pm ages 3 years old through the 6th grade. We begin with a time of worship and after worship the kindergarten group is dismissed to a class where they learn the same lesson as the older kids but on their level. We use puppet skits, snacks, and crafts to teach these children the lesson for the day.

First through 6th graders have a competition throughout children’s church as I am teaching the lesson for the day. Kids earn points by bringing their Bibles, answering questions, or playing games. The winning team can choose something out of the prize box at the end of service.

Our service is broke up into three parts: their time, my time, and God’s time. One of our goals in Faith Force is to demonstrate how the Bible can help them and relate to them in whatever grade they are in.

C.H.A.M.P.S

C.H.A.M.P.S. is the program we offer for boys and girls kindergarten through 6th grade on Wednesday nights beginning at 7pm. The acronym stands for “Children Hearing A Message Playing Sports”. At C.H.A.M.P.S the kids get the opportunity to play a sport and then listen to a devotion that connects the skills they learned for that particular sport to the Bible and to life. They are able to earn points based on behavior, Bible verse memorization, and participation. These points help them earn their own CHAMPS shirt and the opportunity to go on trips such as Ranger games, Tarleton games, and any other fun place we can think of.
