Pastor Ed & Cristi Dittfurth
Since 1998, Pastor Ed and Cristi Dittfurth have passionately led the people of Cornerstone as Lead Pastors, giving over 25 years of service to this body. Ed Dittfurth grew up in Brazoria County, but has called Stephenville home since moving here to attend college at Tarleton State University. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Hydrology, Ed and Cristi were married on May 19, 1990, one week following graduation. Their ministry has grown into a healthy community of believers ranging from young and old alike. The Dittfurths are a blessed family of five, with one daughter and two sons.
Their ministry philosophy encompasses a belief in individuals allowing the anointing to come down and the Holy Spirit to flow out of them like rivers of living water. With this will come healing, refreshing, and a prophetic impulse to spur others on to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.
Pastor Ed believes in the mandate of making disciples (Matthew 28:19); that the best times of discipleship occur while doing something for the Kingdom of God together. Our view at Cornerstone is that being a part of a vibrant congregation is key to a strong testimony to others in work and life.
Pastor Ed currently serves on the Stephenville ISD School Board, the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Pecan Valley Behavioral Centers Board. He has coached local sport teams for 12 years, and continues to find ways to serve the community of Erath County.
