| LIFE STORY |
My name is Mo Howard I have served here at SFA as the praise and worship pastor since January of 2004. I am married to the girl of my dreams, Leah Joy. She is the mother of our three wonderful children, Caleb, Elizabeth, and Selah. As long as I can remember I have had a mic in my hand singing in front of congregations and audiences. I was five years old the first time I sang a special at church. My mother used to tell me the key I was singing in, then send me up on stage to the pianist to tell them what I was singing and what key we were going to be in. And away we went! At age 6, I received Jesus into my heart on a Monday night at VBS. The next night I went down and asked Jesus into my heart all over again. Later at home, my mother asked me why I decided to go down again. I just smiled and said "Because Moma, it felt so good." At age of 12 I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. It was a youth service with only special music and worship. Wow! Go figure. What an amazing experience! No wonder I am doing what I love to do. |
